XAUUSD SELL Signal — $4210 Gold Setup for 06 Oct 2026
Gold is bouncing back today, but the bigger trend points down. Here is our step-by-step $4,210 sell setup for 06 Oct 2026.
Hey there. I hope your week is off to a great start. Gold is putting on quite a show today, trading up at $4,155.11. If you are watching the charts in Mumbai or Dubai, you probably noticed this sudden jump of $24.20. It feels like the market is trying to catch its breath after a heavy slide. Let's look at how we can trade this bounce without getting trapped.
How Yesterday's Signal Went
Let's talk about yesterday's sell setup first. We wanted to sell gold at $4,180.00, and the market gave us a perfect entry. The price climbed up to a high of $4,197.10, which came close to our stop loss at $4,198.00. That was a tense moment, but our safety net held strong.
After that scare, gold tumbled all the way down to a low of $4,130.70. This move easily cleared our first target of $4,155.00 and our second target of $4,135.00. We missed our third target of $4,110.00 by a few dollars, but walking away with a maximum move of $49.30 in our favor is a solid win.
Today's Trade Setup
Why This Setup
Even though gold is climbing today, the overall short-term direction is still pointing down. Think of this current upward move as a rubber band being pulled back. Eventually, the tension gets too high, and it snaps back down.
We are looking at a strong resistance area around $4,210.00. Resistance is like a thick concrete ceiling that gold struggles to break through. If gold rises to this level, we expect sellers to step in and push the price down again.
This setup lets us sell at a relatively high price. If you trade jewellery gold in Pakistan or India, you know it is always better to sell when the price spikes temporarily. We are doing the exact same thing on the digital charts.
What Could Go Wrong
No trade is a guaranteed winner. If gold gets a sudden burst of buying power and breaks above our stop loss at $4,235.00, this setup is dead.
A clean break above that level means the buyers have taken full control. If that happens, we do not want to fight the market. We take our small loss and wait for the next setup.
Bottom Line
This is a patient player's trade. Do not rush to sell at the current price of $4,155.11. Wait for gold to climb up to our entry point near $4,210.00 before you trigger your sell order.
